“Not having a clue what to do, who to call, where to go, and when to do all of the things … it was far too overwhelming.”
These are the words of a bride who came to Easy Weddings to simplify her planning blues! “Easy Weddings made it just that easy,” says bride Jaya Mather, 34, who married her beau Justin Taylor, 24, on May 21, 2017. “I knew my countdown, had everything organised from the invitations to organising the beautician and hair stylist to the honeymoon.”
The pair says their love is “like no other”. “That look he gives me,” begins Jaya. “It’s like no-one exists but me, why does he do that and with such sincerity, I’d marry him every day.”
Their bohemian wedding commenced with a ceremony at the Wollongong Uniting Church on The Mall, followed by a reception at Level One Harbourfront. “Our vows were different to most weddings,” explains Jaya, who has two young daughters. “Justin gave my two princesses their own rings as a promise to take care of all three of us and love us forever.”
Justin thanked the girls for graciously sharing their mother’s love with him, for accepting him into their family and allowing them to protect, guide and raise them.
“It was such a special day for so many reasons,” says the bride. “A family uniting and an adventure of a lifetime. A day that just wan’t long enough!”

“Our rings are imperfect, not smooth or shiny, they’re rough unpolished gold, with a suture in the back of the band to symbolise how our love will mend and heal time and time again,” says Jaya.

“He is a man of his word. We are a family now and blessed we are for having found each other,” Jaya says of Justin joining her and her two daughters in life.
The groom opted for a natural-tone suit with brown tooled leather bow tie and brown leather button hole suspenders.
The bride wore a stunning and intricate full-length gown with long sleeves from Grace Loves Lace.
Guests were given chakra crystals in a Peruvian embroidered gift bag as favours.

The couple worked with wedding stylist Splashes Occasions and Flowerbud florist to transform the reception space into their “bohemian dream.”
