Earlier we showed you the colourful traditional ceremony of Tamera Murray and Pranavan Yoganathan. But that wasn’t the end of their glorious wedding celebrations, instead choosing to hold a Christian ceremony with 120 guests a week later.
The pair chose Centennial Vineyards in Bowral, NSW. The classic wedding styled in white was a contrast to the bright ceremony a week earlier. “As a little girl I always dreamed of that white dress with the white arrangements and pink roses, so I wanted that as well,” says Tamera.
Her vision was to create an elegant, pretty and sophisticated affair. “I wanted my bridesmaids to look elegant so they could feel amazing and be just as beautiful. And they all did.”
Tamera’s tips for a smooth wedding is to plan ahead. “I give other friends advice who are getting married to be organised in advance so no stress closer to the time.”
She says her relationship with Pranavan is strong because although they come from different worlds, they “see eye to eye on almost everything”.

“Pran likes that I am strong and confident, silly and playful and always loyal,” smiles Tamera.

The pair’s second wedding was held in Tamera’s hometown, Bowral, NSW. “It has a lot of sentimental value,” she says.

“I love the fact that Pran is so caring, hard working, loving and tries his hardest to do the things I like,” praises Tamera.
