Love can be a rocky road, but Jaime Doyle and Cameron Morshead will tell you true love finds its way back.
The pair met almost 10 years ago and quickly fell pregnant with their son. An engagement followed but a tough lifestyle living in a small mining town for Cameron’s work took its toll on the relationship and they consequently separated. “We kept in regular contact due to our son and as often as he could, Cameron [31] would visit,” explains Jaime, 29. “Every time I saw him the spark was still magic.”
Two years after their break-up, the couple rekindled their romance at a friend’s wedding. “We agreed to forgive and work on what we both knew was something special,” says Jaime.
A few other hiccups like emergency back surgery for Cameron delayed a date to seal the deal, but on August 8, 2014 their colourful wedding for 70 happened. “I finally got to walk down the aisle to the man of my dreams and my son’s daddy after nine years,” smiles Jaime. “And it was the most amazing and best day of my life.”

The couple praised Kurt of Tella Photography. “Kurt did the most amazing job ever, the photos are stunning.”
The couple included a butterfly release at their ceremony in Townsville.

Jaime’s advice for brides-to-be is to be organised!
