“Married life hasn’t changed anything, we still laugh and enjoy each other’s company and I hope things never change.”
Loved-up bride Jessica Bennett was so keen to say ‘I do’ to her beau Daniel Hill she dropped down to hug him while he was still adjusting himself on one knee! “He was just thinking ‘stand up so I can ask first’ because he had a whole lovely speech memorised but didn’t get to say it,” smiles the bride.
The Adelaide couple, aged 26 and 30 respectively, met through mutual friends and spent nine years together before marrying. Their rustic vineyard wedding on January 30, 2016 was surrounded by 80 guests on a perfect summer’s day. The ceremony at Middlebrook Estate Winery in McLaren Vale was followed by a reception at the same location.
The winery was a lush backdrop for photos among the vineyards. “We couldn’t have asked for a better day, the day before rained really heavily but on our day it was perfect,” smiles Jessica. “Our venue and all the suppliers on the day were great.”

Jessica’s gorgeous gown was from Bridal on Pulteney and featured a lace bodice and encrusted belt.

Celebrant Tony Hurn of SIgnature Ceremonies kept things light as he married the couple under the estate’s gazebo.

Pale yellow Kombis and coral bridesmaid dresses added a summer vibe to the celebrations.

Scrummys Cakes and Pastries created the couple’s rustic-style naked, two-tier cake.
